QUT bluebox launchpad PLUS
QUT Launchpad+

Based on Steve Blank's recognised Lean launchpad process Launchpad+ will connect QUT researchers with entrepreneurs and put them through an evidence based process to validate ideas for potential commercial development.

Launchpad+ runs four times a year and lasts eight weeks. The program is not an academic course to learn about startup or learn how to write a business plan; it is a real-world trial of the constraints and pressures in an early stage startup.

The program is designed to give you real experience of working as a team, and building a real-world business model based on real QUT research. Here you can test how your research can translate into a startup.

Teams will be hands-on, dealing with customers, partners, and competitors, and encounter all the aspects of how a startup actually works.

QUT Launchpad+ Benefits

Learn how to use a business model to brainstorm each part of a company

Use customer development to get out and test the demand for your product

Rapidly iterate your product to build something customers could use and buy

Each week will be a new challenge as you test each part of your business model and share the hard-earned knowledge with the rest of the group.
