Commercialisation means different things to different people, spanning the entire spectrum of commercial activities from technology transfer to open innovation. Of course, we believe that the key to the success of any commercialisation venture of any shape, size or style is the people, and we are therefore committed to assisting QUT researchers to commercialise QUT-developed innovations of all types and in all forms.
We work with QUT staff and students to progress suitable projects towards commercialisation through the provision of high quality advice and guidance, noting that the process takes on varying forms for various projects. We consider all relevant pathways to translate research outcomes for the benefit of the community, including non-traditional and unconventional means.
