BIO Travel Fellowships
"Creating researchers for the real world"
In conjunction with the Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation and the Division of Research and Commercialisation, bluebox offers three annual fellowships for Queensland University of Technology researchers to represent the university at Bio, the largest annual biotechnology event in the world.
Information about the 2011 fellowships will be released closer to the event; please check this site regularly for updates.
About Bio
Bio is the largest biotechnology conference in the world, with a broad aim of “advancing biotechnology”. Attendees of the conference include worldwide representation from university and industrial research institutes, funding agencies and major companies, spanning a large breadth of disciplines and applications.
Previous fellowship winners described Bio as “the best conference I’ve been to,” noting “it opened my eyes to the business side of science and exposed me to different areas of science in biotechnology as well as commercialisation.”
IHBI and bluebox are active participants at the Bio conferences, showcasing QUT’s strengths in biotechnology and innovation.
