  • About Bio2008
Bio2008 is the largest biotechnology conference in the world, with a broad aim of “advancing biotechnology”. Attendees of the conference include worldwide representation from university and industrial research institutes, funding agencies and major companies, spanning a large breadth of disciplines and applications.

Previous fellowship winners described Bio as “the best conference I’ve been to,” noting “it opened my eyes to the business side of science and exposed me to different areas of science in biotechnology as well as commercialisation.”

IHBI and bluebox are active participants at the Bio conferences and will be showcasing QUT’s strengths in biotechnology and innovation at Bio2008. (See www.bio2008.org for more information).
