bluebox is the knowledge transfer and innovation company for the Queensland University of Technology.
We provide a range of services in the commercialisation space, including:
- Helping QUT researchers to translate research outcomes from the university environment to the real world.
- Assisting parties external to the university to invest and collaborate in the process of developing the real-world innovations of tomorrow.
- Promoting the transfer of knowledge and technology from the lab to the community for the benefit of the broader population.
Working with university staff and students, we aim to progress innovative QUT-developed research towards making a difference in the real world.
From licensing technologies to industry partners willing and able to advance QUT's work, to creating specialist start-up companies based on QUT projects, we evaluate the entire spectrum of commercial and non-traditional options to take innovations from the university environment to the broader community.
